On to the meat of the meeting…

Sarah Austin went over the details from last meeting about what the new outlook for SGFBlogs looks like.

We will have the needs posted here soon. A lot of the “needs” are now filled, but there are a few more areas that can use some focus.
So… There is a lot of talk these days about Social Media. Between classes you can take to learn how to tweet, facebook, and the SM conferences around town it is out there. Are you working it? Are you making it work for you?

Good Evening from SGFBloggers meet up.

Tonight we are sitting outdoors on the patio at The Farmers Gastro Pub. What a great turn out so far! We have 15 bloggers here!

Some new folks from the local University, the MSU variety are here to get some pointers on blogging for a new project they are working on. I hope we hear more about this over the next few months. It sounds like a great concept!

The actual topic for this evening is Social Media. How does it work, what can you do with it as a blogger?

Good news, everyone!

September may have brought the rainy season, but it also brings us another Springfield Bloggers Association meeting and the associated good times, good drinks, and good discussion.

Join us at Farmers Gastropub in downtown Springfied for a casual evening of conversation and discussion on September 13, at 7:00 PM!

Though we don’t really formalize our talk too much, we do have a subject to spur conversation. This month we’ll be talking about social media:

• How do you use it, and why?
• How important is social media and/or networking to your blog?

Have you got a question, comment, suggestion, or complaint? Send it our way–we’re always looking for new ideas or ways to improve your Springfield Bloggers Association.
