Hiatus

Hi, Bloggers,

First, I want to thank you all for your involvement with the Springfield Bloggers Association the past several years. I have really enjoyed making new friends who love blogging, social media, and geeking out as much as I do. But our numbers have been waning over the last year, and I have some new commitments this fall that I’m excited about. Alas, I need to take a break from our little group.

For the rest of 2012, I will not be available to organize or attend our monthly meet-ups or manage our blog. If you are interested in carrying this baton and revitalizing the group, please let me know!

It’s been a pleasure! Talk to you in January!

Join Us For Our May 2012 Meet-Up

Hey, Springfield bloggers, save the date and plan to join us on Monday, May 14, for our next meet-up! We’ll be back at the Farmers Gastropub around 7 PM once again. (But always check here, our Facebook page, and/or our Twitter feed for updates the day of. Things sometimes change at the last minute.) It was suggested at our April meet-up that we play a trivia game because everyone in attendance admitted to knowing a lot of really random facts. And so, since we don’t have anything better to do, we shall. Hope you can make it!

Join Us for Our April 2012 Meet-Up

As usual, the Springfield Bloggers’ Association will have their monthly meet-up on the second Monday of April. That is, the April 9. We’ll grab a table at the Farmers Gastropub around 7. We’ll do some eatin’ and drinkin’ and chattin’, and then we’ll adjourn.

If you’d like to meet other bloggers from the area or just need an excuse to meet some new people, we hope you’ll join us!
